Six Month Doctor's Visit

On Tuesday, Duckie had his six month check up and shots - he handled it all beautifully. No ill effects from the shots, and not even a lot of complaint - the normal cries, of course, that come with getting poked with sharp objects, but he calmed down fairly fast. What a trooper!

So, his stats (Sept 9, 2008):

• Height: 70cm (27.5" = 2.3'!)
• Weight: 7.94kg (17lbs 8oz)
• Head Circumference: 46cm

He was nice and normal in muscle tone, growth and development, and above average in height and head circumference. The doctor seemed pleased with everything except the bum rash he had. We have "special bum cream" now. Ain't we getting fancy?

The next doctor's appointment is for 9 months and that one doesn't have shots, thankfully. But it seems we will have to get two flu shots (one month apart) in November and December. Do they ever tire of jabbing my poor child with needles?
