Money

It isn't fun to have a baby on a budget. There are so many things I'd like to be able to get the little guy, but I can't afford them. I just have to remind myself that he's happy with a cuddle and my hand to play with. I'm just programmed to want to spend to show love. Damn North American consumerist culture.

But we are splurging on his first professional baby portraits tomorrow. That was a necessary expense, I think. I'll post them when I get them.
