Duckie has enjoyed a week of one meal of rice cereal a day. Things were going swimmingly, except for one day, which was likely disrupted by teething pain. However, the addition of a lunch meal of oatmeal was not greeted with enthusiasm today - in fact, it ended with some pretty disgusted little faces and a lot of spitting.
Oh well. Try again tomorrow.

max didn't like oatmeal at first either, so i tried mixing a little with rice cereal, gradually increasing the ratio of oatmeal: rice. now he eats it like a champ.
once declan starts eating fruits, you could also try mixing a little fruit with his oatmeal. max likes it that way.
